This Wednesday our #Leisure department experienced disruption from their normal working routine – a pleasant one as they had 16 little “shadows” following them 🚶♂️🚶♀️ – school pupils eager to put themselves in the shoes of a travel agent for a day. 🌏 With interactive presentations, quizzes, an office tour and a real hotel site inspection, we hope we’ve managed to show children what’s the job like in a fun way.
The Job Shadow Day is a global initiative run by Junior Achievement Latvia in the framework of career education for children of all ages from grade 1 to 12, that offer pupils get an up-close look at the world of work and a particular field that interests them. #ĒnuDiena
